Christmas Party at the church Thursday, 18 December. SCCC is providing chicken. A-J please bring a salad; K-Z please bring a dessert. Gather at 6:00 PM with dinner starting at 6:30 PM.
Program:
Bob Gillespie discussed the use of histograms for improving exposures.
Jack Bristow reviewed Picasa, freeware image-editing software from Google. You can find the product at: www.picasa.google.com
View & Review:
After Dark images (and two knight shots from Riverssance) were shown and discussed.

Larry Crabb called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
Announcements:
We will judge slides tonight at the meeting. There were only 20 entries so we can comment to our hearts content. This is also a test of how well our judges will be judging.
Barbara-Ann Huculak will have a presentation at Noon on 5 December in the Western Iowa Tech Fargo Room. It is: Made in Occupied Japan: Remarkable Collectibles.
There are no N4C competitions in December.
Larry C. will convert .tif files to 35 mm slides the weekend after Thanksgiving. The cost is $1.00 per slide. He will also work on 6 x 6 slides. Their cost is $2.50 per slide.
Thursday, 18 December, the second meeting, is our Christmas potluck at the church. Gather at 6:00 PM for dinner at 6:30 PM. Members with A-J last names are to bring a salad; members with K-Z last names are to bring a dessert.
