From the Editor:

I am sending out one last newsletter with the year-end results and a few pass-a-long e-mails that may not have gotten to everyone. I will include here one reminder, one suggestion, and one good deal for any one that might be interested.

First the reminder, the SUMMER PICNIC is set for Sunday, July 29, at Chuck and Marti Peterson's house. More details will be available as we get closer to the date.

Second, below is a note I recieved from the club president concerning a possible photo outing for the summer. I know we had discussed some other options at the awards dinner. My suggestion is this, if anyone has an idea for a SUMMER OUTING and is willing to put some time into arranging things I will get the word out by e-mail and phone or postcard to those members not on the net. Just get the details to me far enough in advance, 2-3 weeks, and I will get a notice out to every one.

Last of all I have sitting in my basement, at this very moment, what could be the start of a great darkroom for someone out there. A friend was moving recently and had a stainless steel sink that is78" X 25" with about a 3" lip all around. It has a drain at one end (although I'm not sure it is a standard plumbing size). It does not have any legs but I don't think it would be hard for someone to work it into to their darkroom design. If someone is getting ready to build a darkroom or could use an extra sink it's yours for the asking. (phone 494-7689) -- Tom Atkinson, Editor

Almost Tarbox

Went on a road trip over the weekend and in Niobrara. There is a ranch similar to Tarbox Hollow but they have Elk. Could you put this in the newsletter and let's see if any one is interested. Have them contact me and will work on getting a date setup for it. The cost is $5 per person. -- Steve Peterman

Just talked to Chuck and he said he has delivered these pictures to Steve's porch for entry into N4C judging. -- Tom Atkinson
