FROM THE EDITOR
December is here, a time for eating, good cheer, and camera club is
no exception to that rule. Our first meeting this month, December 14, will
be a pot luck dinner held at the church. Bring food, plates, utensils and
a drink. Because of the holidays our judges have also asked that you bring
all slides and prints to be judged in December to this meeting. You can
meet to dine before the December 28 meeting at 6:00 in the new Charlies
Resturant in the River Boat Inn.
On a picture taking note, I sure hope someone was out Saturday with
their camera. I had to drive to Sioux Falls first thing in the morning and
left mine at home. The fog and ice on the trees and old buildings alongside
the road would have made for some spectacular photos. I'm also starting to
see lots of Christmas lights, building and street decorations that might
look pretty neat in the right weather. When you think about it, December
with its changing weather patterns, Christmas lights , decarations, and
family gatherings is a wonderfull time of year to be a photographer. --
